💼 About The Role
HireArt is partnering with a generative AI company to find detail-oriented Transcriptionists to support audio data annotation and transcription projects in Hebrew. In this role, you'll listen to short audio clips, apply accurate labels based on what you hear, and transcribe spoken content following specific guidelines.
This is a remote, part-time independent contractor position with flexible hours, ideally requiring at least 20 hours per week. This opportunity is perfect for candidates seeking flexibility and a chance to work in a tech-driven environment.
📝 What You'll Do
- 🎧 Listen to short audio recordings and classify or tag them using project-specific labels.
- 📝 Transcribe spoken language from audio clips with high accuracy.
- 🔍 Follow detailed guidelines for labeling, formatting, and transcription conventions.
- 🚩 Flag or escalate unclear or poor-quality audio when necessary.
- 🎯 Meet daily or weekly quality and volume targets.
🎯 Requirements
- Native-level speaker of Hebrew, specifically as spoken in Israel
- Professional-level English skills (i.e., able to communicate with team members and read instructions in English)
- Previous experience with transcription work, especially with audio containing background noise, multiple speakers, or varying accents
- Basic computer skills and familiarity with Microsoft Office 365 (Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint)
- General knowledge of online communication tools such as Microsoft Teams
- Strong listening skills, high attention to detail, and ability to follow complex guidelines
- Good written communication skills and grammatical accuracy
- Reliable internet connection and ability to work independently
