🧠 Job Responsibilities
- Evaluate, diagnose, and manage neurological disorders and complex conditions
- Perform detailed neurological and cognitive examinations
- Order and interpret diagnostic tests such as MRIs, CT scans, EEGs, EMGs, spinal fluid studies, and lab work
- Treat a variety of neurological conditions including headaches, stroke follow-up, seizures, neuropathy, Parkinson’s disease, dementia, MS, and others
- Develop individualized treatment plans and long-term management strategies
- Prescribe medications and monitor therapeutic responses
- Provide counseling to patients and families regarding diagnoses, prognosis, and care plans
- Coordinate supportive services, therapy, and referrals to specialists
- Maintain accurate EMR documentation and follow-up plans
- Collaborate with PCPs and multidisciplinary care teams
🎓 Qualifications
- MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school
- Completion of an accredited Neurology Residency
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Neurology
- ABPN eligible or certified (preferred)
- Active New York medical license
- DEA registration
- Urgent Care or Emergency Department experience (preferred)
- Bilingual in English and Spanish (a plus)
