About the School

Located in Brooklyn, our school provides various classes to help aspiring drivers obtain their TLC licenses and improve their driving skills. Our classes include:

• TLC Licensing Class: 24 hours
• Wheel Chair Vehicle Class: 4 hours
• Defensive Driving Class: 6 hours

Instructors have the flexibility to teach as many or as few classes as they prefer, working around their schedules. We provide initial training and materials, and follow strict COVID-19 guidelines for everyone's safety. Plus, remote teaching options will be available soon! 🏡

Responsibilities

• Following structured lesson plans 📋
• Taking attendance and managing class logistics 📝
• Delivering engaging and interactive instruction 🎤
• Administering quizzes, exercises, and activities to reinforce learning ✍️
• Facilitating students' understanding of the material taught 💡
• Staying current with NYC events and Taxi & Limousine regulations 🚖📜

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent 🎓
• Eligibility and experience with the TLC licensing class (24 hours) 📚
• Ability to build positive relationships with students 🧑‍🤝‍🧑
• Passion for teaching and a patient, caring personality ❤️
• Understanding of student needs and learning styles 🧠
• Bilingual abilities in Spanish, Chinese, Hindi, Urdu, Korean, or Russian are a plus 🌎

• Job Type: Part-time ⏰
• Pay: $16.50 - $35.00 per hour 💰
• Experience Requirement: At least 1 year of TLC licensing class (24 hours) experience 📝
