Join GTE Financial as a Support Assistant Specialized in Title Closings!

GTE Financial is seeking a detail-oriented and enthusiastic professional with over 3 years of experience in Title to join our team. This role offers growth opportunities in a dynamic environment, focusing on escrow closings, customer service, and administrative support in real estate transactions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with experienced real estate professionals to prepare transaction files for closing.
  • Prepare Closing Disclosure Statements / HUD settlement statements, closing documents, and title affidavits.
  • Conduct closings, manage the entire closing process from initial contract review to post-closing documentation.
  • Review title orders and request additional information to comply with TRID guidelines.
  • Deliver final closing packages, policies, and recorded documents promptly.
  • Build strong, trusting relationships with realtors, mortgage brokers, clients, vendors, and partners.
  • Maintain open communication with internal teams regarding referrals, goals, and evolving services.
  • Create status reports, business correspondence, and procedural manuals.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Prior Florida experience as a Title Closer/Escrow Officer is required.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and other computer applications.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with an ability to interact professionally across various levels.
  • Knowledge of residential and commercial real estate closing processes.
  • Ability to organize, prioritize, and perform multiple tasks with attention to detail.
  • Understanding of the Bank Secrecy Act and related federal laws (e.g., Patriot Act, AML, OFAC).
  • Bilingual in English/Spanish is preferred.

Required Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent; some college preferred.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years’ business development or relevant experience.
  • Licensing as a Florida Title Agent (4-10) is preferred.

Position Details

Location: Downtown Tampa – GTE Headquarters

Department Hours: Monday–Friday (9:00 am to 6:00 pm), Saturday (9:00 am to 1:00 pm)

Employment Type: Full-time, hybrid position (in-office and remote options available)

Note: Work arrangements contingent on meeting performance standards and technical requirements.

Remote/Hybrid Work Requirements

  • A quiet workspace conducive to delivering excellent service.
  • High-speed internet (minimum 100MB) and video connectivity (1.5 Mbps recommended).
  • Must live within reasonable driving distance of the Tampa office for regular in-person attendance.
