Your Role as a Ticket Operations Agent 🎟️

This year-round, part-time role involves supporting both non-game day and game-day operations within the Ticket Operations Department. You'll supervise Ticket Sellers and Resolution Specialists, collaborate with sales and service teams, and develop valuable administrative, supervisory, and customer service skills.

Key Responsibilities

  • Adhere to Our Principles: Embody CARE, CONNECT, EXCEED by welcoming guests warmly and exceeding expectations 😊
  • Supervise Staff: Oversee Ticket Sellers and Resolution Specialists at ticket windows during events
  • Provide Excellent Customer Service: Create a fan-friendly atmosphere by listening, questioning, empathizing, and offering appropriate solutions
  • Collaborate with Management: Assist the Box Office Manager and Assistant Managers with daily duties
  • Event Setup & Ticketing: Manage dates, times, pricing, ticket types, and promotions
  • System Knowledge: Access, interpret, and maintain familiarity with ticketing accounts and functions
  • Prioritize Work: Organize daily tasks and proactively seek new projects
  • Support Troubleshooting: Assist with account issues across departments like sales, corporate, and community relations
  • Account Reconciliation: Handle daily payments and account documentation
  • Assist with Special Events & Ticket Fulfillment: Support season renewals, mailings, VIP services, and post-season activities
  • Maintain Pods & Records: Keep boxes stocked and records accurate, including customer activity and discrepancies
  • Reporting & Analysis: Review reports and audits for accuracy
  • Allocate Seats & Tickets: Assist with opening day and postseason seat assignments and communications
  • Office Maintenance & Training: Keep box offices clean, stock supplies, and train new staff
  • Reconciliation & Fulfillment: Manage deposits and fulfill special requests
  • Represent the Club: Maintain a positive, professional image at all times
  • Additional Duties: Other tasks as assigned

Skills & Qualifications ✅

  • Consistency, punctuality, and reliable attendance
  • Proficiency in computer skills and adaptability to new systems
  • Strong communication and teamwork abilities
  • Basic knowledge of money handling, banking, and accounting
  • Experience with Microsoft Office Suite and office equipment
  • Comfortable answering phones and responding professionally via email
  • Enthusiastic, friendly, and positive demeanor
  • Discretion, professionalism, and a strong work ethic
  • Attention to detail and motivation to excel
  • Tickets.com/MyProVenue and Ticketmaster experience preferred
  • Flexible, adaptable, and innovative approach
  • Excellent team collaboration skills

Requirements 📋

  • Availability for 80% of home games, non-gamedays, and events throughout the year
  • Flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, holidays, and overtime as needed
  • At least 18 years of age at the start of employment
  • High school diploma required; Bachelor’s degree or ongoing pursuit preferred
  • Bilingual in English/Spanish is a plus
  • Ability to travel within the ballpark and lift up to 25 pounds
  • Successful completion of all pre-employment and background checks

Compensation & Benefits 💵

According to California's pay transparency law, the hourly rate for this position is $22.00. Employees receive additional benefits including:
