Job Summary

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Thai & Japanese Restaurant Manager to lead our vibrant restaurant operations. In this role, you will oversee daily functions, ensure outstanding customer service, and uphold high standards of food quality and safety. Your leadership will motivate the team, optimize processes, and create an inviting atmosphere that celebrates authentic Thai and Japanese cuisine. 📝 Duties

  • Supervise all restaurant activities, including food preparation, service delivery, and kitchen operations to ensure smooth workflow and high-quality standards.
  • Manage staff scheduling, training, development, and performance evaluations to foster a motivated and skilled team.
  • Oversee inventory control, ordering supplies, and managing food costs to optimize profitability while maintaining freshness and quality.
  • Ensure compliance with food safety regulations, sanitation standards, and health codes across all areas of the restaurant.
  • Handle customer inquiries and resolve complaints promptly, ensuring an outstanding dining experience for every guest.
  • Utilize POS systems such as Toast POS for accurate cash handling, sales tracking, and reporting.
  • Coordinate shift management, including opening and closing procedures, staff assignments, and operational troubleshooting.
  • Perform HR duties such as hiring, training, and managing payroll.

🎯 Experience

  • Proven management experience in a fast-paced food service environment, preferably within casual or fine dining settings.
  • Extensive knowledge of Thai and Japanese cuisine preparation techniques and culinary standards.
  • Hands-on experience with POS systems like Toast POS for sales transactions and inventory management.
  • Strong background in staff training, supervision, and team leadership within the hospitality industry.
  • Familiarity with food safety protocols, kitchen management, and food handling procedures.
  • Experience managing budgets, controlling costs, and implementing operational improvements.
  • Previous roles involving restaurant management or assistant management focused on customer service excellence and staff development are highly desirable.
