We're seeking a dedicated Bilingual (Spanish/English) Temporary Medical Assistant to support our Specialty Department and provide outstanding care to our community.

Position Summary

As a Medical Assistant, you will play a vital role in preparing examination rooms, assisting healthcare providers, and ensuring smooth patient interactions in a fast-paced environment.

Key Duties

• Prepare examination rooms and equipment 🏥
• Obtain vital signs, chief complaints, and medical history and accurately record them in medical records 📝
• Complete referrals and discharge patients
• Assist providers and nurses during various exam procedures 🤝
• Support provider with treatments and procedures 💉

Minimum Qualifications

• Medical Assistant Certificate 🎓
• Bilingual Spanish/English required 🗣️
• High School Diploma or GED 📜
• Proficiency in computer skills 💻
• Responsible individual with a genuine desire to support our patients ❤️

Starting Compensation 💰

Minimum: $21.00/hour | Maximum: $21.00/hour

Work Environment, Location, and Schedule

Onsite in the Bronx with a 40-hour workweek:

• Monday - Friday, 8:00 am – 5:00 pm
• or 9:00 am – 6:00 pm
• Every other Saturday (E/O Saturday)
