We are currently seeking a temporary, bilingual (English and Spanish) HR professional to provide essential support for approximately sixteen weeks, collaborating closely with our warehouse team in Shiremanstown, Pennsylvania.

Position Summary 📋

The Temporary Human Resources Generalist will ensure adherence to HR policies, support employee relations, and assist the Vice President of Human Resources in implementing HR guidelines, policies, and programs. Fluency in English and Spanish is essential for this role.

This position is based on-site in Shiremanstown, PA, Monday through Friday, from 8 AM to 5 PM EST, with additional hours as needed.

Reporting & Location 🗺️

  • Reports to: HR Operations Supervisor
  • Location: Shiremanstown, Pennsylvania (onsite daily)

Key Responsibilities 🎯

  • Advise employees and leaders on all employee relations matters, including performance management, coaching, conduct, grievances, investigations, absences, and exit interviews
  • Maintain accurate employee documentation and records within HR systems, generating reports as needed
  • Assist with onboarding new employees in collaboration with team members
  • Monitor people-related metrics and collaborate with the analytics team
  • Develop, implement, and modify HR policies, programs, and procedures
  • Audit HR policies against legislation and best practices, suggesting improvements
  • Provide advice to employees and managers on HR matters
  • Resolve HR inquiries or escalate as appropriate
  • Contribute to HR training materials and ensure awareness of policies and procedures
  • Support talent management initiatives including performance management, succession planning, diversity, and inclusion projects
  • Coordinate onboarding and offboarding logistics, including exit interviews

Required Qualifications ✅

  • Fluency in both Spanish and English
  • Experience onboarding new hires and supporting employee relations
  • Strong understanding of HR policies, performance management, leave administration, and employee engagement

Nice to Haves 🌟

  • Bachelor's degree in HR, Business, Organizational Development, or related field
  • HR certification or willingness to obtain one
  • Experience with HR information systems
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office 365 Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
