Job Description 📄

The Teller I operates within a TD Store, delivering exceptional customer experiences by processing banking transactions accurately and educating clients on TD products and services, or referring them to specialists for tailored solutions.

Key Responsibilities & Scope 🚀

• Execute TD's Brand promise through exemplary customer interactions
• Perform deposits, withdrawals, loan payments, and safe deposit transactions efficiently
• Handle cash operations with high accuracy, including check cashing, currency verification, and balancing cash drawers
• Respond to customer inquiries, resolve concerns, and escalate issues when necessary
• Lead lobby activities to welcome and guide customers effectively
• Understand customer preferences, promote self-service/digital options, and educate accordingly
• Conduct needs-based conversations, recommend financial/digital solutions, and refer customers to partners
• Make informed decisions and resolve problems promptly, escalating complex issues appropriately
• Ensure compliance with company policies and regulations like BSA and Patriot Act
• Verify customer identities following authentication policies
• Balance cash in ATMs, TCDs, and TCRs as needed
• Follow safe deposit operations and safeguard cash and confidential information
• Maintain security practices, including dual control and fraud prevention
• Complete required training modules by specified deadlines

Education & Experience 🎓

• High school diploma or GED required
• Preferred: 6 months of relevant experience or equivalent through volunteering, education, or military service
• Availability to work during operating hours, including weekends, evenings, and holidays
• Customer service skills preferred
• Strong organizational and attention to detail
• Ability to adapt in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent communication skills
