Job Description

The Teller I operates within a TD store, delivering legendary customer experiences by accurately processing transactions and educating customers on TD's products or referring them to specialists for tailored solutions. 🏦

Depth & Scope

• Executes TD's brand promise through consistent customer service behaviors
• Performs transactions such as deposits, withdrawals, loan payments, and safe deposit operations with high accuracy
• Balances cash drawers, verifies currency, and handles night deposits reliably
• Addresses customer inquiries, escalating issues as needed
• Leads lobby engagement by welcoming customers warmly and managing flow effectively
• Educates customers on digital banking options tailored to their preferences
• Serves as a financial advocate, offering solutions and referrals
• Makes prompt decisions, resolving issues and escalating complex matters appropriately
• Maintains compliance with regulations like the Bank Secrecy Act and Patriot Act
• Verifies identities, manages cash operations, and adheres to security protocols
• Ensures confidentiality and complies with security measures to reduce risks
• Utilizes bank tools to detect and prevent fraud
• Completes all required training timely

Education & Experience 🎓

• High school diploma or GED required
• 6 months related work experience preferred (or equivalent via volunteering, education, or military service)
• Availability to work flexible hours, including weekends, evenings, and holidays
• Customer service skills preferred
• Strong organizational and detail orientation
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent communication skills
