We are seeking a Teller to join our Consumer Banking and Lending division within the National Branch Network. This role places you at the heart of your local community, providing essential financial services to residents, businesses, and employees. Key Responsibilities 📝
- Support customer engagement by processing teller transactions, suggesting digital solutions, and referring customers to bankers
- Perform operational activities while adhering to established policies to minimize risks
- Handle routine transactional, operational, and customer support tasks efficiently, leveraging knowledge of bank procedures and products
- Follow directions from managers and exercise judgment within policy guidelines
- Escalate questions or issues to more experienced team members
- Interact with customers to demonstrate care, build relationships, and complete transactions
- Identify information and services to meet customers' financial needs
Qualifications & Skills ✅
Required:
- 6+ months of customer interaction experience, or equivalent through work, training, military service, or education
- Bilingual proficiency in Spanish and English (speaking and listening)
Desired:
- Customer service experience handling complex transactions across multiple systems
- Ability to educate customers on digital banking and mobile options
- Professional and trustworthy communication with customers and team members
- Experience working collaboratively to meet customer needs
- Cash handling experience
- Knowledge of policies, procedures, and regulations
- Awareness of potential fraud or risky accounts and action-taking abilities
- Organized, independent, and capable of prioritizing in a fast-paced environment
- Judgment exercised appropriately, with proactive communication to management
- Military experience related to personnel benefits, operations, or HR functions
- Proficiency in building and maintaining strong customer and colleague relationships
Job Expectations 📅
- Availability to work most Saturdays
- Position is not eligible for visa sponsorship
- Must pass a language proficiency assessment
