The Teller position is an entry-level role focused on supporting branch activities, delivering client-facing services, and processing transactions. The goal is to provide high-quality customer service while helping the branch achieve its financial objectives.

🔹 Key Responsibilities

  • 🌟 First Point of Contact: Greet clients warmly and create a positive initial impression through friendly and efficient service.
  • 💰 Transaction Management: Handle banking transactions adeptly, including cash management, deposits, and maintaining branch vault cash.
  • 🎯 Cross-Selling: Identify opportunities to refer clients to new products and services aligned with their financial goals.
  • 💻 Educate Clients: Promote digital and self-service banking options offered by Citi.
  • 🔐 Compliance & Security: Follow bank policies, controls, and legal regulations to safeguard client and bank assets.
  • 🤝 Client Issue Resolution: Address client needs and concerns effectively, escalating issues when necessary.
  • 📚 Knowledge Maintenance: Keep informed on client accounts and the bank's current and new products.
  • 🌟 Customer Experience & Risk Management: Provide an exceptional client experience while assessing and managing risks ethically and in compliance with applicable laws.

🔹 Qualifications

  • Previous relevant experience (preferred)
  • Proven sales and customer service skills
  • Money handling experience
  • Strong problem-solving and communication abilities
  • Ability to thrive in a team-oriented environment

🔹 Education

High School diploma or equivalent required
