Role and Responsibilities ⭐

The Technical Service Manager (TSM) will oversee customer technical support, ensure the growth of the local business, and manage product testing to keep our offerings future-proof. The TSM also trains Sales Engineers on existing and new products.

• Manage assigned customer base from a technical perspective
• Support and grow the local business through technical expertise
• Lead testing of new product developments
• Train Sales Engineers on current and new products
• Report directly to the Sales Manager
• Provide technical support to customers and prospects
• Visit clients alongside Sales Engineers/Managers
• Identify new growth opportunities and support product launches
• Provide feedback for product development and improvement
• Lead technical activities and interpret laboratory results
• Manage a small team of TS-engineers and oversee laboratory operations
• Participate as a member of the Engineering management team

Knowledge & Experience 🧠

• Degree in Chemical or Technical Engineering
• Manufacturing or production experience, preferably in Metal Working
• Understanding of Environmental, Health, and Safety regulations
• Proven achievements in relevant roles
• Fluent in Italian and English; additional languages are a plus
• Existing network in Metalworking fluids and industrial cleaners
