🔹 About the Job

Type: Full-Time / Permanent

As an Electrical Technical Program Manager specializing in Storage Product Design, Switch, and Networking Servers, you will oversee projects related to embedded systems, computer hardware, and firmware. Your role involves supporting existing customers and developing new business by delivering technical expertise, presentations, demos, and training. You'll also handle escalations, ensuring customer satisfaction, with international travel to Taiwan and possibly other Foxconn sites.

🎓 Qualifications

• Education: B.S. in Electrical and Computer Engineering or related fields; M.S. preferred
• Experience: 5-10 years in x86 computer hardware, embedded systems, firmware/software in networking and telecom equipment; proven customer-facing expertise; strong project management skills (PMP certification a plus)
• Languages: Proficiency in English required; Mandarin is a plus

🛠 Skills & Competencies

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Mandarin
• Strong collaboration and customer interaction abilities
• Deep analytical skills with familiarity in Product Development Processes
• Proficiency in x86, ARM hardware/firmware, or embedded system design
• Understanding of Telco Equipment, including 5G, LTE, and IP/MPLS technologies
• Experience with major telco operators
• Knowledge of SDN/NFV and network automation
• Proficiency with tools such as JIRA, Confluence, and Microsoft Office, including scripting

🚀 Responsibilities

• Provide technical support to customers on server and networking projects, from product concept to mass production, focusing on embedded hardware and firmware/software
• Act as the front-end engineering interface in San Jose, assisting with new product development, managing meetings, and tracking design, validation, and resolution of issues
• Coordinate with Foxconn’s design, testing, validation, manufacturing, and operations teams to meet customer needs during all NPI phases
• Support on-site debugging and meetings at customer locations, tracking and resolving issues identified by external customers, internal engineering teams, and factories during product development
• Collaborate closely with local teams and customers to investigate, reproduce, and troubleshoot technical issues, guiding backend R&D and manufacturing
• Travel internationally to Taiwan and other Foxconn sites for on-site technical support ✈️
