Tetto aims to be a new kind of home contents insurance tailored for a modern, digital-first generation. Our mobile-first, AI-powered subscription service targets young, urban renters, offering instant quotes, personalized coverage, and near-instant claim payouts.

By integrating with users’ digital lives, Tetto adjusts coverage automatically as circumstances change, ensuring full protection without overpayment. Our transparent pricing and user-friendly interface position Tetto as Italy's next leading insurer for upcoming generations.

🎯 What We're Looking For

We seek an experienced operator with entrepreneurial drive to co-found and serve as CTO. You’ll shape product and business strategy, bring industry experience in financial or insurance data, and own technological development while managing day-to-day engineering operations. Future responsibilities include team expansion and establishing technical capabilities for growth.

🛠 Responsibilities

• Develop & deliver MVP: Lead hands-on coding, testing, and deployment, adapting to business needs and customer feedback.
• Build the tech team: Drive hiring and cultivate a strong engineering culture.
• Technical ownership: Make critical decisions on platform architecture and strategy.
• Product delivery: Prioritize roadmap tasks to test, iterate, and serve an expanding user base.
• Scalability: Ensure systems architecture supports future growth.
• Best practices & AI: Employ cutting-edge AI and machine learning techniques to enhance the product.
• Strategic input: Contribute to product, commercial, and fundraising strategies.

🎯 What You’ll Bring

• Technical expertise: Experience developing complex platforms, integrating diverse data sources and models.
• Startup experience: Proven ability to swiftly deliver products in a fast-paced environment.
• Agile mindset: Familiarity with agile development methodologies.
• Insurance/Fintech insight: Passion and knowledge of regulatory and industry challenges, bonus if with Insurtech or Fintech products.
• AI proficiency: Stay abreast of the latest in AI/machine learning and apply creatively to consumer applications.
• API integrations: Experience pulling data from multiple sources.
• Full-stack skills: Expertise in web and mobile applications using HTML, CSS, React, Node.js, Python, etc.
