Key Job Responsibilities 📚
- Implement the district's educational philosophy and instructional goals through daily responsibilities.
- Provide clear instructional purpose and deliver content accurately to students.
- Create a safe, respectful, supportive, and challenging learning environment tailored to students' maturity and needs.
- Develop effective classroom routines and procedures fostering collective ownership and management.
- Engage students with well-designed activities, questions, and discussions that promote higher-order thinking and reasoning skills.
- Ensure equitable access to rigorous content for all students.
- Assess students formatively and summatively, providing regular feedback and formal progress reports.
- Participate actively in professional learning, adopting an inquiry-based, growth-focused approach.
- Collaborate with colleagues to enhance teaching practices and share insights.
- Follow district policies and procedures diligently.
- Instruct assigned classes and perform duties at designated locations and times, including in-person, hybrid, asynchronous, and synchronous formats.

- Protect students, resources, and facilities by taking necessary precautions.

Educational Requirements 🎓
- Bachelor's degree required
- Appropriate Educator License (PEL, ELS-CTE) with required endorsements
Experience & Knowledge 💡
- Preferably experienced working with students in a school setting
- Strong understanding of fundamental principles of teaching and learning
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to meet deadlines
- Professionalism in time management, stakeholder engagement, and continuous growth
Physical Demands 🏃♂️
- Occasional physical exertion, such as lifting or moving heavy objects
- Prolonged periods of sitting or standing
- Stoop, bend, reach, and work at student's level when necessary
- Work indoors and outdoors as required
Terms of Employment 📅
This is a 10-month position (184 days). Salary and benefits are in accordance with the policies set by the Board of Education.
