Trinity School, a vibrant co-educational K–12 institution located on Manhattan's Upper West Side, is hiring a full-time Lower School Spanish Teacher for Grades K-4, starting September 1, 2026. 🌟

Position Overview

We are seeking a passionate and experienced world language educator with native or near-native fluency in Spanish. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of teaching Spanish to early childhood and elementary students, incorporating developmentally appropriate, engaging, and culturally rich instruction.

Qualifications & Experience

• Fluency in Spanish (native or near-native)
• Experience teaching Spanish to early childhood and elementary students
• Knowledge of the FLES (Foreign Language in Elementary Schools) model is highly desirable
• Expertise in interdisciplinary and integrated curriculum development
• Proficiency-based language instruction background
• Ability to support a seamless transition from Lower to Middle School Spanish
• Master’s degree preferred 🎓

Full-time faculty are expected to participate in school responsibilities such as lunch duty and bus duty. You will join a small, dynamic team of enthusiastic, creative, and collegial Lower School Spanish teachers working across grades K–4.

Compensation

Salary range: $80,000 - $178,000 (competitive, based on experience) 💼
