Position: Middle School Judaic Studies Teacher
We are looking for a caring, experienced, and energetic educator to join our Judaic Studies faculty. The ideal candidate will have at least three years of experience as a head teacher in Judaic Studies and possess a genuine love of teaching middle school students and Torah.
Responsibilities
- Plan engaging lessons tailored to diverse student needs
- Deliver differentiated instruction to promote growth
- Assess and monitor student progress
- Support students' social and emotional development
- Communicate effectively with parents
- Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the learning environment
Qualifications
- BA degree required; MA in Education preferred
- Experience in middle school education is preferred; new teachers are encouraged to apply as mentoring and support are provided
- Fluency in Hebrew required
- Passion for teaching Torah and working with middle school students
- A teaching philosophy centered on growth in academic, social, and emotional domains
- Team-oriented and collaborative mindset
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Student-centered approach to teaching and learning
- Role model for Jewish living and values
Compensation
Salary Range: $60,000 - $85,000 💰
