Position Overview

We are seeking a caring, experienced, and dynamic teacher to join our Elementary Judaic Studies team as a classroom teacher. The ideal candidate will have experience teaching Hebrew and Judaic Studies using various instructional methods, including whole group, small group, and independent instruction.

Responsibilities include:

  • Planning engaging lessons
  • Delivering differentiated instruction
  • Assessing student learning
  • Supporting students' social and emotional development
  • Communicating effectively with parents
  • Collaborating with colleagues

The successful candidate will possess a deep passion for Judaic studies, a love of teaching children, and a desire to exemplify observant Jewish living.

Ideal Candidate Qualifications

  • Three years of experience as a head teacher in an elementary school (preferred)
  • Master’s degree in education (preferred)
  • Fluency in Hebrew is required
  • Experience with TalAM is a plus
  • Belief in holistic growth across academic, social, and emotional domains
  • Collaborative, teamwork-oriented mindset
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Compensation

Salary Range: $60,000 - $75,000
