Join Our Team as a Recruiting & HR Specialist! 🎯

This role is vital in sourcing, onboarding, and supporting a diverse and talented workforce through strategic recruiting, digital onboarding, and workforce engagement initiatives.

📝 Duties and Responsibilities

Manufacturing Recruiting

  • Develops and implements all phases of the recruitment process
  • Collaborates with managers to define hiring needs and job criteria
  • Maintains active candidate pipelines
  • Screens applicants and coordinates interviews
  • Facilitates hiring decisions and offer coordination
  • Supports temp-to-hire conversion pipelines
  • Promotes workforce opportunities via job boards and social media
  • Assists with hiring events and community outreach such as job fairs

Electronic Onboarding & Orientation

  • Create digital onboarding workflows and documentation
  • Supports development of digital orientation materials
  • Coordinates new hire orientation scheduling
  • Tracks onboarding completion milestones (30/60/90-day)
  • Reduces early turnover risk through onboarding improvements

Training Administration & HR Systems

  • Inputs completed training data into ADP or HRIS systems
  • Maintains digital training records, performance reviews, and disciplinary actions
  • Supports supervisor training documentation
  • Coordinates onboarding training tracking
  • Converts paper processes into digital workflows

Workforce Support & Floor Engagement

  • Maintains visible HR presence on the production floor
  • Supports employee onboarding and integration
  • Assists supervisors with attendance tracking
  • Conducts stay & exit interviews
  • Flags early retention risks
  • Supports employee engagement initiatives
  • Provides bilingual workforce communication support

Recruiting Metrics & Visibility

  • Tracks and reports recruiting metrics like applicant flow, time-to-fill, and turnover
  • Provides insight into staffing challenges to support planning strategies
  • Ensures compliance with employment laws and company policies
  • Performs other duties as assigned by management

🎓 Qualifications

  • Associate degree preferred
  • 1–3 years of recruiting or HR experience
  • Manufacturing environment experience preferred
  • Experience with ADP or HRIS systems preferred
  • Strong organizational & digital documentation skills
  • Professional communication abilities
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities
  • High confidentiality and discretion

🌐 Language Requirement

Bilingual in English and Spanish is strongly preferred to support workforce communication and onboarding.
