We are seeking a dedicated and strategic Talent Acquisition Manager to spearhead our recruitment efforts and attract top-tier talent for our organization.
Position Summary
The Talent Acquisition Manager will research, develop, and implement effective recruiting and staffing strategies to attract qualified and capable talent to support our organizational goals.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Develops, facilitates, and implements all phases of the recruitment process.
- Collaborates with other team directors and managers to identify and draft detailed, accurate job descriptions and hiring criteria/standards.
- Identifies and executes efficient recruiting methods and strategies tailored to each role, industry standards, and organizational needs.
- Assists with job posting and advertisement processes.
- Screens applications and selects qualified candidates.
- Schedules interviews and oversees the preparation of interview questions and related materials.
- Participates in the interview process, conducting interviews alongside managers, directors, and stakeholders.
- Coordinates with hiring managers and HR staff during the offer process, advising on salary ranges, incentives, start dates, and other details.
- Ensures compliance with federal, state, local employment laws, regulations, and company policies.
- Attends and represents the organization at college job fairs and recruiting sessions.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Requirements
Qualifications
Minimum and desired qualifications needed to succeed in this role include:
- Education & Work Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or a related field, or equivalent work experience, required.
- At least eight years managing all phases of recruitment and hiring is highly preferred.
- SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP certification preferred.
- SHRMs Talent Acquisition Specialty Credential is a plus.
- Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills with effective negotiation tactics.
- Ability to create and implement sourcing strategies for various roles.
- Proactive, independent, with a demonstrated ability to take initiative.
- Excellent time management skills, with a track record of meeting deadlines.
- Familiarity with hiring laws, regulations, and best practices.
- Quick learner of applicant-tracking software (e.g., Paylocity) or similar systems.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
Physical Demands
- Primarily seated at a desk working on a computer for at least two-thirds of the time.
- Minimal lifting up to 25 lbs.
- Requires regular and reliable attendance.
- Local travel up to 20% of the time.
