Now Hiring: Tajik/Russian Linguist – TS/SCI Clearance & Polygraph 🚀

Join our team in Reston, VA, and work on exciting projects that require 100% travel across the U.S. and abroad. This role involves translating documents into English and providing consecutive interpretation.

Responsibilities 📝

• Perform a variety of language-related tasks including triage, gisting, and transcription of audio/video materials.
• Apply knowledge of Tajik/Russian cultural contexts to accurately translate abstract language and idioms.
• Experience working with the USG and/or military as a linguist is helpful but not mandatory.
• Be willing to travel worldwide, including to warzones and austere locations, in support of the US Government at any time.

Required Education & Experience 🎓

• Active TS/SCI clearance with polygraph is mandatory.
• BA/BS Degree strongly preferred.
• Proficiency at Level 3 on the ILR scale (or equivalent) in translation, speaking, and listening — signifying "professional performance."
• Excellent language skills in the target language and English.
• Willingness to travel at least 40% of the year to various locations worldwide, including warzones.
• When not traveling, the position may require working in a Northern Virginia office for a standard 40-hour workweek.

• Ability to give and receive constructive feedback during translation reviews.
• Typing speed of at least 45 WPM in both English and the target language.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
• Ability to qualify on weapons to meet warzone requirements.
• Medically fit for travel to diverse environments.
• Willingness to travel flexibly as mission needs change — "anywhere, anytime."
• Cultural knowledge and awareness of current events relevant to the language area.
• Pass the English test with a score of 80% or higher.
• Provide a current US passport.
