Job Opportunity: Content Metadata & Video Content Specialist

About the Role

Are you proficient in one of these languages and experienced in video editing or metadata management? We are looking for individuals like you to support and enhance the viewing experience on our client's streaming platform. Your tasks will include research, metadata tagging, and content analysis, contributing to improved discoverability and viewer engagement. 🤝

Responsibilities

• Applying judgment, domain expertise & critical analysis to determine accurate results based on guidelines
• Marking in/out points for optimal content playback
• Handling both repetitive and complex tasks efficiently
• Performing accurate data entry
• Reviewing and evaluating: written materials and visual content, applying tags, annotations, markers, or descriptive metadata to enhance storytelling and viewing experience
• Collaborating within a cross-functional, international team
• Consistently meeting data targets
• Participating in required meetings

Minimum Requirements

• Fluent in French, Italian, or German
• Proficient in editorial and video tagging
• Detail-oriented
• Familiar with digital content management systems
• Strong interest in Movies and TV
• Research, critical thinking & story analytics literacy
• Fluent in English, both written and verbal; additional languages are a plus
• Strong communication skills and collaborative approach
• Ability to manage multiple tasks of varying complexity
• BA/BS degree or background in entertainment or creative industries

Preferred Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience with digital content and metadata
• Understanding of the digital content landscape and movie platforms
• Experience in editorial tasks, audio/visual literacy, online merchandising, or digital entertainment content
• Previous tagging, research, or metadata experience is a bonus
