We are expanding! Due to our continued growth, we are seeking a Swiss Tax Consultant to join our dynamic Chicago office. This exciting role offers international exposure, starting with a year in Zurich before relocating to Chicago, and involves significant engagement with Swiss business development initiatives.

With over 40 years of experience, Rödl & Partner specializes in tailored accounting, auditing, tax, and business consulting services for foreign-owned businesses in the U.S., primarily serving German-speaking and international companies. Our headquarters is in Atlanta, GA, with additional offices across the U.S., including Birmingham, Charlotte, Denver, Detroit, Greenville, Houston, and Manhattan.
The primary hiring team operates out of Chicago, but qualified candidates across our U.S. offices will be considered.
Your Skills & Qualifications 💼
- Successfully completed a degree in business management, economics, or a similar field
- Qualified with the Swiss tax consultant exam (Steuerexperte)
- 5-10+ years of practical tax experience
- Willing to travel domestically and internationally ✈️
- Open-minded, network-oriented, and enthusiastic about seminars, presentations, and business development
- Exceptional English speaking and writing skills 🗣️✍️
- Fluent in German
- Proactive, self-motivated, and initiative-taking
- Team player with enthusiasm and a high sense of responsibility
- Interest in working with international middle-market and entrepreneurial companies

Compensation & Employment Equality 💰
Pay Range in Chicago, Manhattan & Denver: $90,000 - $150,000 annually
Final salary depends on skills, experience, and location.
