Join our dynamic support team at Lightspeed and become the first point of contact for our valued customers worldwide! Help resolve a diverse range of customer inquiries, from general questions to technical troubleshooting, and contribute to delivering exceptional service.
About the Role
As a part of Lightspeed's support team, you will work closely with global teams to investigate, troubleshoot, test, and resolve issues faced by our hospitality customers during their service experience. Your efforts will ensure our customers receive prompt and efficient support across various platforms.
What You'll Be Doing 💼
- Collaborate with a truly global, multi-language 24x7 support team across APAC, EMEA, and NOAM regions.
- Maintain flexibility in working days and shifts, including weekends.
- Engage enthusiastically, positively, and knowledgeably with hospitality customers, partners, and internal teams via phone, chat, and email.
- Utilize troubleshooting techniques to quickly identify sources of customer issues and deliver swift solutions.
- Document, track, and resolve customer interactions within support platforms.
- Assist in identifying, reproducing, and escalating product issues and bugs to the quality assurance team, following issues through to resolution.
- Advocate for continuous product and service improvements.
- Operate within a roster/schedule to ensure high availability and support for our customers, collaborating with your manager.
What You'll Be Bringing To The Team 🌟
- Previous experience in customer service and/or technical support.
- Strong attention to detail with a focus on delivering an exceptional customer experience.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in German and English.
- Basic familiarity with common online, mobile, and desktop platforms such as iOS, Android, macOS, and Windows.
Even Better If You Have — But Not Necessary 🚀
- Experience interacting with customers via phone, email, ticketing, and live chat platforms.
- Knowledge of the hospitality industry.
- Experience supporting SaaS products or iOS applications.
- Computer networking knowledge or interest.
- Passion for technology with working knowledge of Mac OS, basic HTML/CSS.
- Hospitality experience and proficiency in Dutch or French communication skills.
