📝 Job Description

Barilla America, Inc. is looking to recruit a Supply Chain Analyst to join our Supply Chain team. Reporting to the Purchasing Associate Director, this hybrid role is based out of Northbrook, IL.

🎯 Job Purpose

To develop awareness across various Supply Chain areas (Procurement, Logistics/Customer Service, Distribution Planning, Operations Projects) with the goal of transitioning into a different Supply Chain role within 2 years or when opportunities arise. The position supports and adds value to multiple departments within Supply Chain.

⭐ Key Accountabilities

  • Conduct market analysis and support vendor assessments in existing and new categories, learning procurement fundamentals.
  • Manage business relationships with co-manufacturing suppliers to support procurement activities.
  • Oversee procurement and cost-tracking activities for Gas and Electric energy in the USA and Canada.
  • Lead and coordinate supply chain projects to ensure successful implementation.
  • Support production planning across multiple locations, including forecasting, Out of Stock detection, and root cause analysis.
  • Perform detailed analyses on order, performance, and customer deduction data to generate reports and identify trends for improvement.
  • Leverage data insights in meetings to optimize KPIs and supply chain efficiency, both internally and with customers.
  • Collaborate with Accounts Receivable/Finance to review logistics deductions and enhance deduction validation processes.
  • Manage system setup for new items within Advanced Planning Operations and R/3, working closely with planners on master data adjustments.
  • Run weekly planning reports, manage hold product evaluations, and oversee key KPIs related to production and sales.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

🎓 Desired Skills & Background

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Economics, or Information Technology
  • 2+ years of experience in Supply Chain or related fields (CPG experience a plus)
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; Power BI experience preferred
  • Strategic thinker with a hands-on, tactical approach
  • Strong prioritization and time management skills
  • Adaptability to fast-paced environments
  • Detail-oriented, organized, and driven
  • Limited travel, including plant visits and customer meetings during training

💰 Compensation & Benefits

As of this posting, the estimated salary range is $62,000 - $68,000, with eligibility for an annual discretionary bonus. Compensation will be based on experience, skills, and other factors.
