📝 Job Summary

Position Overview: The Social Work Director provides strategy, support, and leadership to the BHS Social Workers and Licensed Clinical Professional Counselors. This role ensures the successful achievement of hospital and departmental goals by promoting efficient, high-quality care. The director adapts strategic plans to identify new risks, opportunities, and resolutions, and develops utilization management and discharge planning policies to optimize financial and clinical outcomes.

Leadership & Responsibilities: Acts in a leadership capacity or handles complex situations, overseeing both direct and indirect social work services for patients, families, and community members ranging from adolescents to adults within the Carroll Hospital area.

🎯 Requirements

• Master's degree required
• Minimum of 5 years relevant social work experience required
• Hospital utilization management and/or discharge planning experience is preferred
• LCSW-C certification required
