🎯 Job Summary

This role involves tutoring students in the Italian language, helping them improve their skills and understanding of the language and culture.

🧑‍🏫 Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Demonstrate reliability, punctuality, and attention to detail.
• Increase knowledge of Italian courses 1010, 1020, 2010, 2020, and other related materials, including teaching methods and textbooks.
• Enhance tutoring competence by integrating textbook content, assessing student proficiency, and customizing instruction to student needs and instructor expectations.
• Effectively communicate with diverse groups, maintaining positive relationships across the college community.
• Work effectively with students, faculty, and staff from a variety of cultural, socioeconomic, and ability backgrounds, including those with disabilities.

🎓 Minimum Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.

• Current student at Salt Lake Community College.
• Experience in language teaching or tutoring.
• Willingness to attend classes in the target language as approved.
