Job Overview 📝

We are seeking a talented Bilingual (English & Japanese) Strategy Planning Analyst to support our sales planning department. This position is based in New York, NY, and involves a hybrid work arrangement.

Location & Academic Requirements 📍🎓

  • Location: Must reside in the New York City area
  • Education: Bachelor's Degree with a quantitative focus (Economics, Finance, Computer Science, Mathematics, etc.)

Language Skills 🌐

  • Fluent in English and Japanese (speaking, reading, and writing)

Key Responsibilities 🎯

Sales Support & Coordination

  • Assist the sales team in the Eastern / Canada Region with product stock and delivery status updates
  • Manage custom-made requests and liaise with engineering regarding feasibility and lead times
  • Coordinate with internal departments for various inquiries

Data Analysis & Reporting 📊

  • Aggregate and analyze sales data by product category, clients, and sales channels
  • Create periodic sales records (monthly, quarterly, semi-annual) using Excel
  • Develop PowerPoint presentations to communicate findings
  • Design and execute sales promotion strategies based on data insights

Showroom Management 🏢

  • Assess and optimize showroom displays and layout
  • Negotiate with vendors and design firms; oversee approval processes
  • Manage renovation projects ensuring adherence to schedules

Product Analysis 📈

  • Perform sales data analysis on China products by series, client type, and sales channels
  • Generate and interpret detailed reports for management
  • Plan and implement sales promotions based on analytical insights

Qualifications & Skills ✅

  • Proficiency in business-level English for meetings and correspondence
  • Excellent interpersonal skills to foster collaboration across departments
  • Proactive attitude towards taking on new challenges
  • Patient, diligent, and detail-oriented
  • Strong ability to handle large datasets and generate reports in Excel
  • Expertise in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Desire for stable, long-term employment

Preferred (Optional) Skills & Experience 🌟

  • Experience using analytical tools such as Tableau
  • Background in sales data management or numerical analysis
  • Advanced skills in Tableau for data visualization
