The Role

We’re seeking a strategic buyer to join our team based in Secaucus, New Jersey. This role involves managing component supply chains, ensuring seamless procurement processes to support AMD’s innovative products.

Key Responsibilities

• Knowledge of BOM structures & design processes for cables/connectors (servers/rack)
• Advanced analytical & communication skills
• Multitasking & prioritization abilities
• Planning & Organization: Utilize structured trackers to plan actions
• Accountability: Proactively resolve issues promptly
• Teamwork: Collaborate effectively across teams and organizations
• Drive for Results: Consistently exceed expectations
• Attention to Detail: Ensure accuracy in all information

Preferred Experience

• Proven expertise in purchasing & Supply Chain Management (SCM)
• Understanding of global/regional markets and cultures is a plus
• Effective communication & interpersonal skills
• Experience in ODM/OEM Manufacturing & Server System Solutions industry (preferred)
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel & PowerPoint), including data analysis with pivots and V-Lookups

Academic Credentials

• Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Industrial, Technology Administration, Supply Chain Management, or related field
• Proficiency in English. Bilingual in Mandarin is preferred
• Strong understanding of procurement & supply chain principles
