Job Description
This supervisory role oversees daily team activities to ensure operational excellence, compliance, and risk mitigation while fostering customer and sales objectives. The store manager is expected to manage store operations in the absence of other managers, including teller functions, platform activities, and escalations.
Depth & Scope of Responsibilities
- Supervise advice and service colleagues to achieve store goals, delivering legendary customer experiences.
- Lead daily operations to ensure personalized service, compliance, and regulatory adherence.
- Monitor workflows, prioritize tasks, and delegate responsibilities efficiently.
- Understand and educate the team on bank policies, procedures, and risk management.
- Drive operational excellence in cash handling, vault management, fraud prevention, and expense control.
- Engage in customer conversations about loan products, maintaining active NMLS registration.
- Develop and coach team members on customer service, product knowledge, and sales strategies.
- Support sales activities across various financial products by leveraging relationship tools and campaigns.
- Gain and deepen customer relationships through proactive outreach, lead management, and appointments.
Qualifications & Experience
- High School Diploma or GED required; Undergraduate degree preferred
- Minimum 2 years of experience in customer service or sales roles
- Notary License (preferred)
- Previous supervisory or leadership experience
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Proficiency in Outlook, Lotus Notes, Word, Excel
- Ability to lead and motivate teams
Customer Accountabilities
- Provide end-to-end advice, building trust with educational content and support
- proficient in products/services, coaching the team on delivering exceptional service
- Handle customer complaints and escalations to ensure a legendary experience
- Lead the execution of customer experience plans and store advice strategies
- Maintain professionalism and a welcoming environment in the store
Shareholder & Operational Accountabilities
- Manage operational systems, vault, cash control, and compliance standards
- Oversee daily store activities, including cash handling, transaction accuracy, and risk management
- Ensure staff adherence to policies, promote operational excellence, and participate in process improvements
Employee & Team Development
- Lead, support, and develop a high-performing team through coaching and performance management
- Foster a diverse, inclusive, and collaborative workplace culture
- Participate in onboarding and training initiatives to ensure team proficiency
Regulatory & Physical Requirements
Regulatory: Must comply with OFAC, OCC, and SAFE Act regulations, including NMLS registration.
Physical & Travel Demands: Continuous sitting and operation of office equipment; occasional standing, walking, lifting under 25 lbs., and travel as needed.
