Job Title: Senior Manager, Paid Media - Small Business
Location: Hybrid (including San Francisco, Mountain View, or New York)
Work Model: Hybrid with some days remote and in-office, based on team needs
Role Overview
We are seeking a seasoned marketing professional to lead our Paid Media efforts tailored for Small Business initiatives. As a key member of our centralized digital marketing team, you will craft and implement innovative media strategies to accelerate LinkedIn's global growth. Collaborating closely with various marketing teams—including Talent Solutions, Sales Solutions, Marketing Solutions, and Premium—you will drive substantial expansion of our paid media programs and revenue streams across all channels and lines of business.
Ideal Candidate Profile ✨
- Expertise in full-funnel paid media planning and activation for B2B and SaaS brands targeting Small Business audiences across offline and online channels
- Proven thought leader experienced in influencing senior stakeholders (Director+ level)
- Skilled in brand and performance metrics, including Brand Lift Studies and funnel analytics (Awareness, Consideration, Conversion)
- Track record managing large-scale global campaigns with $20M+ annual budgets, consistently surpassing ROI goals
- Ability to foster collaboration across global teams, driving alignment and shared objectives
Key Responsibilities
Leadership & Strategic Stakeholder Management
- Act as the primary contact for paid media, ensuring clear communication of project status and outcomes to leadership and cross-functional teams
- Build robust relationships to enhance program effectiveness and alignment
- Influence decision-making by presenting compelling business cases and leading organizational change
- Define and execute comprehensive media strategies supporting Small Business acquisition and broader objectives
- Lead strategic discussions and business reviews, ensuring seamless integration of full-funnel campaigns
- Identify innovative solutions and channels to improve efficiency and campaign performance
- Provide thought leadership on emerging media trends, inspiring teams toward innovation
Paid Media Program Management
- Lead end-to-end paid media strategy and execution, serving as a subject matter expert
- Manage agency relationships for campaign excellence, creative innovation, and proactive optimization
- Regularly analyze campaign performance, delivering insights and recommendations to maximize ROI
- Oversee budget planning, spend allocation, revenue forecasting, and ROI modeling
- Implement continuous improvements through benchmarking, testing, and cross-team collaboration
- Translate audience insights into impactful creative strategies and media plans
- Develop case studies and conduct incrementality tests to validate and secure channel investments
- Stay at the forefront of industry trends to explore emerging technologies and media opportunities
- Effectively manage multiple projects, ensuring transparent communication with stakeholders
Qualifications
Basic Qualifications ✅
- 6+ years in digital marketing, specializing in paid media strategy, optimization, and ROI enhancement
- 3+ years managing brand paid media, either in-house or at agencies
- Experience working with creative and media agencies for 3+ years
- Leading large-scale brand campaigns for 3+ years
- 3+ years coordinating multiple workstreams with diverse teams and stakeholders
- Proficiency in cross-channel planning for at least 3 years
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or related field, or equivalent experience
Preferred Experience 🌟
- Proven B2B and brand marketing success with multi-channel go-to-market strategies
- Senior stakeholder management experience
- Ability to distill insights into clear, actionable recommendations
- Expertise influencing creative development through data and media insights
- Strong problem-solving skills with a focus on campaign execution and performance analysis
- Experience aligning cross-functional teams around shared media objectives
- Exceptional interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills
- Understanding of measurement methodologies like MMM; familiarity a plus
- Resourceful, proactive, and capable of taking initiative independently

Compensation & Benefits 💼
