Position: Sr. HR Generalist (Japanese Bilingual)
This role offers an exciting opportunity to manage comprehensive HR functions within a thriving industry, working 2-3 days onsite per week. 🏢💼
Salary Range 💰
$110,000-$120,000
Key Responsibilities 🎯
Core HR Functions
- Administer and maintain recruitment, onboarding, compensation, benefits, employee relations, leave programs, and policy enforcement.
- Act as a primary contact for employee inquiries regarding policies, procedures, and workplace issues; handle complex cases with urgency.
- Develop and enforce HR policies compliant with federal, state, and local laws; stay updated on regulatory changes.
- Coordinate disciplinary actions, terminations, and internal investigations, adhering to legal and ethical standards.
Recruitment & Onboarding 🤝
- Manage full-cycle recruitment: drafting job descriptions, sourcing, interviewing, onboarding.
- Collaborate with managers to identify skills and competencies needed for roles.
- Conduct background checks, drug tests, employment verification, and ensure documentation accuracy.
- Facilitate employee orientation to promote seamless integration into the organization.
Compensation, Benefits & Payroll 💼
- Benchmark market compensation and benefits trends to ensure competitiveness.
- Administer benefits programs (medical, dental, vision, insurance, 401(k), etc.) and liaise with providers.
- Support benefits renewal periods, open enrollments, and address employee inquiries.
- Oversee payroll processing while ensuring legal compliance.
Performance Management & Development 🚀
- Assist in developing performance appraisal systems and employee evaluation processes.
- Monitor training programs, including compliance and continuing education.
- Lead initiatives to boost employee engagement, recognition, and morale.
HR Systems & Compliance 📊
- Maintain accurate employee records in HRIS platforms and conduct regular audits.
- Generate reports and dashboards for leadership insights.
- Prepare compliance documents such as EEO-1, ACA filings, and OSHA logs.
Immigration & Global Support 🌍
- Manage immigration documentation and visa processes for international staff.
- Collaborate with global HR teams in Japan, Germany, Ireland, Israel to support cross-border assignments and travel compliance.
Other Responsibilities 🌟
- Continuously seek improvements to HR operations.
- Participate in cross-departmental projects and organizational change initiatives.
- Perform additional HR duties as assigned by leadership.

Education & Experience 🎓
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field required.
- Minimum of 3–5 years of progressive HR experience; leadership or senior-level experience preferred.
- SHRM-CP, PHR, or equivalent certification is a plus.
