Job Description
We are seeking a highly experienced and technically advanced Senior AV Manager who can seamlessly bridge business needs with technical execution. This role demands a client-facing professional capable of consulting on AV strategy, designing enterprise-grade systems, managing projects from start to finish, and supporting installations as needed. 🚀
Key Responsibilities
- Client & Business Engagement: Consult and build strong relationships with clients and partners.
- AV System Design & Engineering: Design and specify enterprise AV solutions including conferencing and digital signage.
- Project Management & Leadership: Lead projects, coordinate teams, and ensure timely delivery.
- BoM & Commercial Review: Develop Bills of Materials, review vendor quotes, and optimize costs.
- Scope Documentation & Reporting: Clearly define project scope, produce technical documentation, and compile reports.
- Installation Oversight & Technical Support: Oversee and assist with installation, testing, and troubleshooting.
- Operational & Strategic Contribution: Set standards, recommend upgrades, and stay abreast of emerging technologies.
Qualifications
Education
- 4-year college degree in Network Engineering, Telecommunications, Audio/Visual Technology, or related field.
Experience, Knowledge, and Skills

Client & Business Engagement
- Serve as the primary AV SME for clients and partners.
- Assess needs and recommend scalable AV solutions.
- Present AV technologies confidently to executives.
- Translate business requirements into technical designs.
- Foster strong relationships with customers, vendors, and partners.

AV System Design & Engineering
- Design enterprise AV systems, including video conferencing rooms, collaboration spaces, and digital signage.
- Deep knowledge of Cisco Systems, Poly, Webex, Microsoft Teams, and Zoom solutions.
- Design with proper signal flow, network integration, DSP configuration, and control systems.
- Ensure interoperability across platforms and room systems.

Project Management & Leadership
- Lead AV projects from conception to completion.
- Manage internal and external technical teams.
- Create project timelines, milestones, and resource plans.
- Coordinate with IT, facilities, and construction teams.
- Deliver projects within scope, time, and budget, mitigating risks proactively.

Bill of Materials (BoM) & Commercial Review
- Develop detailed BoMs aligned with design and budget.
- Review vendor quotes and validate technical accuracy.
- Align procurement with scope and optimize costs.

Scope Documentation & Reporting
- Define and communicate full project scope.
- Create technical design documents and system diagrams.
- Produce completion reports: as-built docs, equipment lists, test results, client sign-off.

Installation Oversight & Technical Support
- Oversee AV installation, commissioning, and testing.
- Perform troubleshooting and validation.
- Provide user training and ongoing support, including executive support as needed.

Operational & Strategic Contribution
- Establish AV standards and best practices.
- Recommend lifecycle upgrades and technology roadmaps.
- Stay informed on emerging AV trends.
- Contribute to business development through technical expertise.
Computer Skills
- Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
Travel
Approximately 50% travel required.
Physical Demands

Preferred Qualifications
- 7+ years of experience in AV system design, integration, and project management.
- Proven experience managing enterprise AV deployments.
- Strong understanding of IP-based AV, networking, and UC platforms.
- Excellent communication skills with executives, engineers, and technicians.
- Leadership experience in high-demand environments.
- Strong documentation and reporting skills.
- Executive-level communication and business acumen.
- Detail-oriented with high accountability and ability to thrive under pressure.
- Bilingual in Korean and English.
Preferred Certifications
- AVIXA CTS, CTS-D, or CTS-I
- PMP (a plus)
