📍 Location & Work Details

• Location: Addison, TX 75001
• Work Hours: 9:00 AM - 6:00 PM (8 hrs/day, negotiable)
• Work Style: Onsite
• FLSA Status: Non-exempt
• Experience Level: 5+ years in accounting
• Language Skills: Japanese & English bilingual (both writing and speaking)

💼 Overview

We are looking for a Senior Accountant to oversee financial reporting, support budgeting and forecasting, and ensure compliance with various accounting and tax regulations. This key role involves financial analysis, audit coordination, and aiding management decision-making.

🎯 Responsibilities

• Lead monthly and year-end financial close processes
• Review journal entries and perform account reconciliations
• Prepare financial reports and support group reporting requirements
• Assist in budgeting and forecasting; conduct variance analysis
• Manage tax compliance activities such as Sales & Use Tax and 1099 with external advisors
• Research and apply accounting standards like US GAAP, IFRS, and J-GAAP
• Support audits and work on improving accounting processes
• Guide and mentor junior accounting staff

🎓 Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related discipline
• 5-8+ years of relevant accounting experience
• Strong knowledge of US GAAP; familiarity with IFRS and J-GAAP preferred
• Advanced Excel skills and experience with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, etc.)
• Excellent analytical and communication skills

🌟 Preferred Qualifications

• CPA certification or current pursuit of CPA/CMA qualification
• Experience with international or overseas financial reporting

🈶 Language Requirement

Business-level proficiency in Japanese (reading, writing, speaking) is required.
