- Role: Frontline Software Support Engineer

💼 Responsibilities
- Provide specialized technical support to Payara Platform users.
- Document resolutions and solutions within internal Payara systems.
- Collaborate with expert engineers to resolve challenging issues related to architecture, security reviews, and performance tuning.
- Assist product management by identifying new features that benefit users.
- Foster engagement with the open-source community through active participation in technical discussions on external platforms.
- Support onboarding and offboarding processes for customers.
🛠️ Essential Skills & Experience
- At least 1+ year of Java development experience.
- Basic knowledge of Apache Maven.
- Fundamental understanding of web server operations and core application development principles.
- Proficiency in written and spoken English; knowledge of additional languages is a plus.
🌟 Desirable Skills & Knowledge
- Previous experience in software technical support.
- Experience with Java / Jakarta EE Middleware applications (e.g., Payara, Glassfish, WebSphere, JBoss, WebLogic) or development using Spring Framework.
- Hands-on experience with DevOps tools such as Docker, Kubernetes, Jenkins, and cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, and GCP.
