💼 Responsibilities

  • Provide specialized technical support to Payara Platform users.
  • Document resolutions and solutions within internal Payara systems.
  • Collaborate with expert engineers to resolve challenging issues related to architecture, security reviews, and performance tuning.
  • Assist product management by identifying new features that benefit users.
  • Foster engagement with the open-source community through active participation in technical discussions on external platforms.
  • Support onboarding and offboarding processes for customers.

🛠️ Essential Skills & Experience

  • At least 1+ year of Java development experience.
  • Basic knowledge of Apache Maven.
  • Fundamental understanding of web server operations and core application development principles.
  • Proficiency in written and spoken English; knowledge of additional languages is a plus.

🌟 Desirable Skills & Knowledge

  • Previous experience in software technical support.
  • Experience with Java / Jakarta EE Middleware applications (e.g., Payara, Glassfish, WebSphere, JBoss, WebLogic) or development using Spring Framework.
  • Hands-on experience with DevOps tools such as Docker, Kubernetes, Jenkins, and cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, and GCP.
