We are seeking compassionate caregivers, CNAs, CMTs, and DSPs to provide exceptional care in Harford and Cecil County with immediate openings in multiple locations.

Summary

Perform a variety of nonprofessional nursing duties to support patient care under the supervision of an RN or LPN.

Duties and Responsibilities 📝

• Prepare patients, equipment, and supplies for specific procedures, providing manual assistance as needed.
• Obtain and record patient data for medical records, informing RN/LPN of important information collected.
• Administer treatment and personal care procedures, including feeding, bathing, shaving, changing clothing, bed-making, assisting with ambulation, enemas, skin care, and bowel and bladder elimination. Provide additional personal comfort care as required.
• Handle scheduling and transportation to appointments, errands, and other activities. Assist with meal planning, shopping, medication reminders, light housekeeping, laundry, watering plants, caring for pets, and other home needs.
• Assist physicians and nurses during physical examinations by helping position patients, changing dressings, and weighing patients.
• Note and report any changes in patient's condition to RN or LPN.
• Take and record vital signs, monitor intake and output, and apply ice packs. Assist with douching and enemas.
• Turn and position patients, set up and feed patients as necessary, and ensure they have fresh water.
• Perform finger sticks for blood glucose testing with proper training.
• Assist with patient admission, discharge, and transportation.
• Follow standard precautions and utilize personal protective equipment (PPE) as required.
• Conduct routine tests on patient specimens, clean work areas, and restock supplies and equipment.
• Participate in ongoing professional development by maintaining necessary skills and attending educational programs. Support the development of colleagues and trainees.
• Perform other related duties incidental to patient care.

Education & Certification 🎓

• Uncertified Caregivers WELCOME
• CNA certification required
• HHA/PCA certification preferred
• CPR and First Aid Certification required
• Must provide Photo ID, Physical, Social Security, PPD, and Background Check

Experience 🌟

• Minimum 1-year experience preferred for CNA
• Minimum 2-year experience preferred for Home Health Aide or Uncertified Caregiver

  • Wednesday: 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM
  • Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday: 9:00 AM - 12:00 PM
  • Monday, Wednesday, Friday: 8:30 AM - 2:30 PM
  • Tuesday, Thursday: 8:30 AM - 3:00 PM
