📌 Main Purpose of the Role

Welocalize is seeking an Experienced Quality Control (QC) Specialist for Spanish (Spain) to join our growing team. The successful candidate will perform linguistic and non-linguistic quality checks on pharmacovigilance documents and other life sciences content, ensuring accuracy and compliance across all translated materials.

🚀 Responsibilities

• Quality Control (QC): Conduct comprehensive quality checks on translations to verify accuracy, consistency, and adherence to client guidelines.
• Non-Linguistic QC: Review formatting, layout, and non-linguistic elements of Spanish documents.
• Content Specialization: Handle specialized areas such as In Vitro Diagnostics, Biology, Chemistry, Pharmacovigilance, Pharmacy, and Scientific Publications.
• CAT Tools: Use CAT tools like XTM, Phrase, Trados, MemoQ to perform QC tasks, including integrated QA checks.
• Client-Specific Applications: Follow specific instructions and requirements of client-provided tools and platforms.
• Capacity Management: Maintain a full-time schedule, reviewing over 5,000 weighted words weekly, including Fridays.
• Documentation: Record QC findings using Microsoft Word's Track Changes feature and other Office tools.
• Collaboration: Work closely with the project management team to ensure timely and high-quality delivery.

🎯 Requirements

• Minimum of 6 months experience in localization, focusing on QA/QC processes.
• Proficiency with CAT tools such as XTM, Trados, MemoQ, Phrase; OmegaT is not accepted.
• Experience with QA tools like Xbench, Verifika, or built-in QA features within CAT tools.
• Technical skills in Microsoft Office, especially using Track Changes in Word.
• Language proficiency: Advanced English (C1 or higher) and native Hebrew.
• Location: Remote.
