Job Description

• 💼 Be available to work a flexible schedule, including weekends, holidays, and varied shifts.
• 🧖‍♀️ Ensure the Franchise and Shaner Brand Standard and provide an exceptional guest experience.
• 🔒 Adhere to policies of the facility, Franchise, and Shaner policies.
• 💆 Perform massage and body services that meet established guidelines and fulfill guest expectations.
• 📋 Perform all treatments on the services menu based on current licensure.
• ⚠️ Assess contraindications that may prevent services from taking place.
• 🤝 Always meet the needs of the guest throughout the service.
• 🛡️ Understand and use universal precautions when providing services.
• 🧴 Clean and disinfect all equipment after use.
• 📚 Maintain the highest level of product knowledge, understanding ingredients and benefits, and able to answer guest questions professionally.
• 🛍️ Recommend products for home use and suggest other beneficial treatments offered in the spa.
• 🧹 Ensure work areas are clean and set according to procedures.
• 📞 Notify Lead Therapist and Spa Management of product needs.
• 📝 Create and maintain client cards and treatment notes when appropriate.
• 🔧 Perform other duties as assigned.

Responsibilities

The Massage Therapist is responsible for providing massages and body treatments in a relaxing environment, creating lasting memories for our guests. 🎉

Qualifications

• 🎓 High school diploma or equivalent.
• 📝 Valid state license in massage therapy or other credentials required by the state.
• 💁‍♂️ Minimum one year of customer service experience; prior spa experience preferred.
• 💆 Knowledge of professional spa services and treatments is a plus.
• 🤝 Previous massage and bodywork experience.
• 🗣️ Excellent communication skills for interacting with guests, management, and colleagues.
• 🤝 Ability to build rapport with guests and explain treatments effectively.
• 🌎 Bilingual in English and Spanish is a plus.
• 🌟 Outstanding customer service skills and work ethic.
• ⚙️ Efficient, well-organized, and capable of handling multiple duties simultaneously.
• 🔥 Energetic, enthusiastic, and motivational personality.
• 👔 Maintain a professional manner, discretion, and appearance.
• 🤝 Strong team-player attitude.
