Job Description

The Solution Designer will be responsible for defining, validating, and governing comprehensive end-to-end solution designs. This includes ensuring that technical, operational, security, and service management requirements are fully integrated before deployment. The role involves aligning architecture, processes, and readiness criteria across projects, operations, and service management to facilitate stable, compliant, and scalable services.

Key Responsibilities

• Design end-to-end technical and service solutions, covering architecture, integrations, configuration structures, and operational workflows 🔧
• Define and validate operational requirements such as monitoring, availability, continuity, capacity, and service levels 📊
• Assess changes and releases for impact, risk, and operational readiness prior to go-live 🚦
• Ensure solution designs align with incident, change, request, service catalog, and configuration management processes 🛠️
• Create and maintain comprehensive solution documentation, service definitions, and operational standards 📄
• Support transition-to-production activities, ensuring readiness criteria and quality gates are met ✅
• Collaborate closely with project teams, operations, service management, configuration management, and external suppliers 🤝
• Identify and evaluate technical, operational, and compliance risks, proposing mitigation measures ⚠️
• Provide input to service catalog entries, SLAs/OLAs, monitoring concepts, and operational procedures 📋

Qualifications

Hard Skills

• Experience with cloud platforms and enterprise infrastructure ☁️
• Knowledge of IT security concepts 🔒

• Experience with gematik and the German e-Health ecosystem 🏥
• Knowledge of Sek-IDP specifications and identity flows 🔑
• Experience with BARMER and AOK integrations 🩺
• Confidential Computing & HSM technologies like TEE/VAU, SCONE, Scontain, Utimaco & Thales HSMs 🔐
