We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Head Chef to spearhead our culinary team, delivering exceptional dining experiences through innovative menus and operational excellence.
🔹 Overview
As the Head Chef, you will oversee all kitchen operations, ensure food quality and safety standards, and inspire a dynamic team in a fast-paced hospitality environment. Your leadership will be key in maintaining our restaurant's reputation for fine dining and operational efficiency.
🧑🍳 Job Responsibilities
- Develop, prepare, and ensure quality control of Sichuan and/or Hunan cuisine
- Maintain consistent flavor profiles, efficient service, and adherence to brand standards
- Manage daily kitchen operations, including staff scheduling and task distribution
- Oversee ingredient purchasing, inventory management, and food cost controls
- Strictly enforce food safety, sanitation standards, and local health regulations
- Support new store openings, optimize menus, and train kitchen staff
🎓 Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years experience as a Head Chef specializing in Sichuan or Hunan cuisine
- Strong mastery of classic Sichuan/Hunan dishes with consistent, high-quality results
- Proven kitchen management experience with responsibility and execution capabilities
- Authorized to work in the U.S. and able to handle payroll and tax reporting
- Fluent in Mandarin
💼 Compensation & Benefits
Salary range: $90,000 - $110,000 per year
