Job Overview
As a Senior Relationship Banker, you will provide an industry-leading client service experience by developing and expanding both new and existing client relationships. You will offer tailored financial solutions based on consultative conversations and refer clients to additional business partners for growth opportunities. You will also be cross-trained to perform teller duties as needed.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Client Service & Sales: Execute routine client maintenance, resolve issues efficiently, and promote deposit, credit, and other products and services.
- Relationship Development: Meet or exceed client service and sales targets through product offerings and relationship management.
- Team Collaboration: Support the sales process by engaging in consultative conversations and referring complex needs to specialists.
- Leadership & Routine Participation: Actively participate in Truist’s Retail Community Bank Leadership Routines.
- Knowledge Advancement: Improve sales techniques and product knowledge through training and learning opportunities.
- Loan Advisory & Applications: Provide advice on consumer lending options and handle loan applications.
- Compliance & Risk Management: Follow internal controls, operational procedures, and stay updated on policy changes.
- Sales Initiatives: Lead branch sales efforts and serve as a resource for colleagues.
- Client Engagement: Deliver professional and courteous service, engaging clients with a friendly demeanor.
Qualifications
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- At least 4 years of client sales and service experience
- Experience sourcing and building client relationships
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications
- Must be SAFE compliant within 30 days of employment
- Ability to multi-task efficiently under time constraints
- Willingness to travel for temporary staffing needs and work flexible hours, including weekends
Preferred Qualifications
- Associate’s degree or higher
- Proven ability to manage multiple priorities
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Experience in selling deposit, credit, and retirement products
- Track record of meeting or exceeding sales goals
- Understanding of bank operations and policies
Compensation & Benefits
The annual base salary for this role ranges from $45,760 to $68,500. Incentive pay is also available.
