Sourcebooks, the fastest-growing book publisher in the U.S., is looking for a proactive, highly organized, and results-driven Senior Project Manager to lead the planning, development, and execution of our calendar and general merchandise product lines. This position offers a flexible hybrid work schedule at our offices in Naperville, IL or New York, NY. Alternatively, you may work remotely full-time from the following states:

Compensation & Benefits 💼💰
This is an exempt, salaried role with an annual salary between $100,000 and $125,000. The starting pay is determined based on a comprehensive evaluation of:
- Geographic location
- Market conditions
- Relevant experience
- Training and education

Key Responsibilities 📝
- Develop and manage project plans, schedules, and budgets for both calendar and merchandise lines
- Coordinate with design, production, marketing, and sales teams to ensure seamless product development and launch
- Monitor project timelines, identify risks, and implement solutions to keep projects on track
- Collaborate with suppliers and vendors to ensure timely delivery of materials and finished goods
- Coordinate with inventory planning, demand forecasting, and replenishment teams for accurate inventory management
- Ensure compliance with quality standards, policies, and industry regulations
- Communicate project updates to stakeholders via clear reports and recommendations
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and cost optimization
- Conduct market research and competitive analysis to enhance product offerings
Qualifications & Skills 🎯
- Bachelor’s degree
- 5+ years of experience in project management, merchandising, publishing, or related fields
- Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities
- Proficiency in managing multiple projects simultaneously
- PMP or equivalent project management certification
- Experience working with vendors, suppliers, and cross-functional teams
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Knowledge of retail trends, product development cycles, and supply chain logistics
- Ability to work under tight deadlines and adapt to changing priorities
- Familiarity with ERP and inventory management systems
