Role Overview
The focus of this role is on our white-label offering, partnering with B2B clients to provide data and services that leverage Agoda’s technological products on their platforms, enriching the customer experience.
Senior Product Managers (SPMs) at Agoda are responsible for defining the strategy across various products, including websites, mobile apps, email marketing, and advanced internal tools such as algorithmic PPC bidding systems and pricing software. They drive continual innovation, create product roadmaps, and collaborate with stakeholders across departments to ensure optimal product performance.
An SPM balances a big-picture perspective with attention to detail, understanding the business needs, competitive landscape, latest trends, and technical developments. They analyze core eCommerce metrics such as conversion rates, ROI, bounce rates, and repeat rates. This role offers the chance to work at the cutting edge of technology, data sciences, digital marketing, and consumer psychology at a scale few companies can match. 💡
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and launch white-label products from ideation through to deployment.
- Partner closely with B2B clients to embed Agoda’s technological offerings within their platforms.
- Monitor industry trends, analyze competitors, and identify market opportunities.
- Define strategic directions aligning short-term initiatives with long-term objectives based on customer needs and business goals.
- Translate strategic goals into actionable operational tasks.
- Lead agile teams to ensure consistent, branded user experiences across all products.
- Establish KPIs and evaluate project success.
- Design navigational flows and enhance user experience across websites and apps.
- Assess risks and tradeoffs related to product decisions.
- Work closely with users to guarantee that projects meet business requirements.
Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in a technical or quantitative discipline (e.g., Computer Science, Statistics, Engineering, Mathematics).
- At least 3 years of product management experience.
- Strong communication skills in English and Japanese.
- Proficiency in analytics and quantitative decision-making methods.
- Experience thriving in fast-paced, high-growth environments.
- Experience with B2B2C, B2B, or B2C products.
- Passion for web design, usability, and testing.
- Innovative mindset to develop processes and technologies that enhance organizational efficiency.
- Ability to motivate and inspire cross-functional teams.
- Exceptional stakeholder management skills at all organizational levels.
- Entrepreneurial, analytical, and adaptable to change.
- Knowledge of current internet trends and technologies.
- Advantageous: MBA or advanced degree in Math, Computer Science, or Statistics.
