Leidos is seeking an experienced Senior Analyst with deep expertise in Russian geospatial linguistics, imagery analysis, and data science to support national security missions at a customer site in Springfield, VA. The ideal candidate will possess a security clearance and be ready to make an immediate impact through innovative analytic solutions.

This unique hybrid position combines advanced imagery analysis (IMINT/GEOINT), data science, and Russian language skills. You will analyze diverse data sources, produce intelligence products, and collaborate with a wide range of intelligence community partners to ensure high precision, linguistic accuracy, and operational relevance.

🗒️ Primary Responsibilities

• Data Structuring: Organize unstructured data (imagery, text, geospatial features) into formats suitable for analysis and fusion.
• Pipeline Development: Build and maintain automated data pipelines using Python, R, or SQL.
• Machine Learning & Statistics: Apply models and statistical techniques for pattern recognition and predictive analytics.
• Data Standardization: Develop ontologies and schemas for geospatial and linguistic datasets.
• Workflow Automation: Generate automated processes to enhance efficiency, scalability, and reproducibility.
• Data Analysis: Conduct exploratory and ad hoc analyses to discover trends, anomalies, and insights.
• NLP Capabilities: Aggregate data and enable natural language processing queries using existing APIs.
• Unstructured Data Processing: Analyze large datasets and documents to extract mission-critical intelligence.
• Data Integration: Combine geospatial and Russian-language sources to enrich analytic context.
• Insight Communication: Translate complex findings into clear, actionable intelligence with visual storytelling.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Ensure consistency with analytic, geospatial, and linguistic standards across teams.
• Briefings: Present findings confidently to both technical and non-technical audiences.

🎓 Basic Qualifications

• Security Clearance: Active TS/SCI with willingness to obtain a Polygraph.
• Experience & Education: Bachelor’s degree + 12+ years or Master’s degree + 10+ years in Data Science, Analytics, GEOINT, or related field (additional experience may substitute for degree).
• Technical Expertise: Demonstrated senior-level experience applying machine learning, statistical analysis, and data engineering to real-world problems.
• Programming Skills: Proficiency in Python, R, or SQL for data analysis and automation.
• Data Handling: Experience processing large, unstructured datasets (text, reports, open-source).
• NLP Support: Experience developing or supporting natural language processing capabilities.
• Language Skills: Russian proficiency, minimum ILR Level 2+ reading (preferably Level 3).
• Geospatial Knowledge: Understanding of geospatial concepts and experience with GIS tools like ArcGIS or QGIS.
• Analytic Skills: Strong research, critical thinking, and written communication abilities.
• Operational Experience: Ability to work effectively in fast-paced, mission-driven environments, including classified settings.
