Role Overview

As a Mandarin-speaking Senior Accounts Payable Accountant, you will oversee daily financial operations, validate invoices, resolve discrepancies, and collaborate with global stakeholders. Your expertise will contribute to maintaining compliance and streamlining financial processes across our organization.

Key Responsibilities & Accountabilities

• Process Transactions: Perform daily financial transactions with timely and accurate invoice validation.
• Match Purchase Orders & Goods Receipts: Ensure proper matching (3-way/2-way) of POs and GRs for seamless processing.
• Invoice Discrepancy Resolution: Verify, investigate, and resolve invoice issues, including handling invoices on hold.
• Reporting & Reconciliation: Analyze aging reports, complete problem resolution, and reconcile supplier statements and balance sheets at month-end.
• Stakeholder Engagement: Handle inquiries from complex suppliers and cross-functionally resolve payment issues.
• Support & Improvement: Assist with Accounts Payable support tasks and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
• Compliance & Audits: Ensure adherence to company policies, accounting standards, and audit requirements, including SOX compliance.
• Ad Hoc Activities: Perform any additional activities as assigned to support team goals.

Qualifications & Requirements

Education & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy, Management Accounting, Financial Management, Business Management, or related fields
• Minimum of 3 years accounting experience in Accounts Payable, fluent in Mandarin
• Experience in Global Business Services or Shared Service models is highly preferred

Skills & Tools

• Strong knowledge of financial software and ERP systems, especially Oracle Cloud or SAP
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, with advanced Excel skills
• Understanding of Source to Pay processes and relevant accounting principles
• Attention to detail, accuracy, and good judgment in handling sensitive issues
• Ability to multi-task effectively and collaborate in fast-paced environments
• Excellent relationship-building and communication skills at all organizational levels

• Willingness to work in Binan City, Laguna, CALABARZON, Philippines
• Open to temporary remote work arrangements
• Availability for dayshift schedules
