Qualifications & Experience

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program 🎓
• Active Virginia SLP license required (or eligibility to obtain before start) 📄
• Open to Clinical Fellows (CF) or those with a Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) 🏅
• Previous experience in school-based or pediatric settings is valued, but enthusiastic new graduates are encouraged to apply 🌱
• Strong collaboration and communication skills to work effectively with students, families, teachers, and staff 🤝

Core Responsibilities

• Provide assessment and therapy services aligned with IEP goals for elementary students 📝
• Develop engaging, individualized treatment plans to meet student needs 🎯
• Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, and families to support student progress 👩‍🏫👨‍👩‍👧‍👦
• Accurately document sessions, evaluations, and progress notes 🗂️
• Supervise and support an SLPA within your caseload 👥
• Participate actively in IEP meetings and provide professional insights for student development 💬

Position Details

This is a full-time contract role offering consistent hours—35 per week—with a supportive and nurturing school environment. Clinical Fellows will receive supervision support to foster a strong start in their careers. 🌟
