Position Overview

Location: Purchase, NY (Onsite)
Salary: Starting at $80,000/year (DOE) + generous benefits
Housing: Faculty and Staff Housing available (subject to availability)

Job Responsibilities

• Administer first aid, manage medications, and provide medical treatments to students as needed 🩹
• File and maintain students' health information in compliance with New York State Law and HIPAA regulations 📁
• Coordinate health services with outside medical institutions 🏥
• Assist the school doctor in conducting physical examinations, administering vaccines, performing diagnostic tests, and medical screenings 👩‍⚕️
• Communicate effectively with parents, the school doctor, and relevant school personnel regarding students' health 🗣️
• Take on-call shifts (outside regular health center hours) 3-4 times per week during school sessions ⏰
• Perform other administrative duties as assigned by the school 📋

Requirements

• NYS license as RN or transferable RN license from another state ✅
• CPR, First Aid, and AED Certified 🛟
• Ability to work cooperatively with health center staff, school doctor, faculty, and staff from other departments including resident faculty and senior management 🤝
• Flexibility to work overtime and weekends as needed ⏳
• Japanese and English bilingual proficiency required 🇯🇵🇺🇸
