Join Our Team as a Customer Sales Representative

This role involves engaging with customers directly through door-to-door and lobby events to promote and sell our products and services, ensuring a high-quality customer experience while adhering to legal employment requirements in the U.S.

Key Responsibilities

• Sell products and services to customers in assigned non-bulk multi-dwelling units (MDU) areas with 20+ doors through door-to-door solicitation and lobby events
• Support efforts to simplify and enhance the customer experience
• Achieve monthly sales goals and increase sales volume and penetration within your assigned territory
• Generate additional revenue from existing customers by upselling and offering new services
• Address customer problems and complaints, following company policies and ensuring satisfactory resolution
• Stay informed about competitor activities and market changes; report findings to management
• Contribute actively to sales meetings and training programs
• Complete all sales paperwork accurately, including sales orders, dispositions, and reports
• Handle funds responsibly and provide receipts following company policies

Required Qualifications

• Strong cold calling, persuasion, and communication skills
• Ability to travel using a personal vehicle, even in inclement weather
• Capability to work outdoors for extended periods in any season and weather conditions
• Computer literacy, with familiarity in operating systems and communication devices (e.g., smartphones, PDAs, routers)

Educational & Experience Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent work experience
• 0 to 6 months experience in sales or customer service

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge of communications technologies, data networking, and telecommunications services
• Experience in consumer education about products and services
• Successful sales experience, including prospecting and cold calling
• Bilingual abilities in Spanish, Mandarin, or Russian (preferred)
• Over 1 year of relevant sales or customer service experience

Working Conditions

• Approximately 80% of time spent outdoors in all seasons and weather conditions
• Ability to lift 10-20 pounds for 20-30 feet (e.g., digital boxes)
• Exposure to moderate noise levels
• Availability to work evenings, weekends, holidays, and variable hours

Compensation & Incentives

The base salary ranges between $33,200 and $66,000. Actual offers depend on skills, experience, and location, with additional options for bonuses and other incentives. The position also includes a commission target starting at $65,000.
