Customer Sales Associate – Job Opportunity

Job Responsibilities
- Sales & Customer Engagement: Sells products and services to customers in assigned non-bulk multi-dwelling unit (MDU) areas with 20+ doors through door-to-door solicitation and lobby events.
- Support Customer Experience: Actively support efforts to simplify and enhance the customer experience.
- Sales Goals: Meet monthly sales objectives by increasing sales volume and penetration through assigned leads and property portfolio.
- Residential Solicitation: Engage residential customers via door-to-door and lobby events.
- Revenue Generation: Generate additional revenue from existing customers by introducing new or additional services.
- Customer Service: Respond to customer problems and complaints in accordance with company policies, ensuring satisfactory resolution.
- Market Intelligence: Maintain knowledge of competitors’ activities within the territory; communicate any competitive pricing or marketing strategies to management.
- Team Participation: Attend and contribute to sales meetings and training sessions.
- Documentation & Transactions: Complete all sales paperwork accurately, including dispositions, sales orders, and reports, in compliance with quality control standards.
- Funds Collection: Collect and account for funds, providing receipts per company policies and guidelines.
Required Qualifications
- Strong cold-call sales skills, persuasion, and clear communication abilities 🎯
- Ability to travel to assigned territories and company facilities using a reliable personal vehicle 🚗
- Capability to work outdoors for extended periods, regardless of weather conditions ☀️❄️
- Familiarity with computer operating systems and communication devices (smartphones, PDAs, routers, modems, etc.) 💻📱
Educational & Experience Requirements
- Education: High School Diploma or equivalent work experience 🎓
- Work Experience: 0 to 6 months in sales or customer service
Preferred Qualifications
- Knowledge of communications technologies and data networking fundamentals 🌐
- Understanding of cable or telecommunications services
- Experience in consumer education and product sales
- Proven success in prospecting, cold calling, and direct sales — previous experience is a plus!
Preferred Work Experience
- Sales or relevant work experience of 1+ years
Working Conditions
- Spend approximately 80% of time outdoors in all seasons, with potential exposure to inclement weather 🌦️
- Ability to lift 10-20 pounds over short distances (e.g., digital boxes) for 20-30 feet
- Moderate noise levels in the work environment 🔊
- Flexibility to work evenings and weekends, including holidays and variable hours 🕒
Additional Information
Our employees are building careers with us! We offer a comprehensive pay and benefits package to support your well-being and professional growth. The base pay generally ranges between $33,200 and $66,000, with potential incentive-based earnings starting at $65,000.
